Cast iron  tea pot called Tetsubin : graceful elegant vessels for brewing and serving tea. Made of specially purified cast iron. A coating of black enamel is applied to the inner surface to prevent the development of rust. A stainless steel infusing basket is supplied for ease of preparation. Make 4 OZ tea or two cups of tea.

Cast iron teapots were first created in ancient China.They are later adopted and refined by the Japanese into Tetsubin. Testsubin is highly use in Japan to serve and brew tea. Unlikely event of rust which is non toxic and safe -In fact many Japanese tea connoisseurs actually prefer the tea from a rusted tea pot.
